Since the Sons of Asterion stresses the synchronicity with the Life of Princess Charlotte Augusta of Wales I am on the lookout for any memorabilia that celebrates her life. I was lucky enough to buy the following medallion from e-Bay that celebrated her wedding on May 2, 1816 to Prince Leopold of Cobourg.
Sadly another coin was issued on the occasion of her death on November 6th, 1817. This particular coin was found by a metal detector, and put up for auction on eBay.
I’ve also managed to purchase a coin token showing Charlotte’s mother, Princess Caroline of Brunswick.
